Young Adult Therapy

Support for college-age and early-career adults in Baton Rouge and across Louisiana.

Young adulthood can be a time of uncertainty around direction, independence, and identity. The transition from school to career, from dependence to autonomy, from figuring out who you are to deciding who you want to become — it's a lot to navigate, and it doesn't always come with a clear map.

I work with college-age and early-career adults who are navigating anxiety, motivation, confidence, and the transition into adult roles.

What Young Adults Often Face

  • Anxiety and overwhelm — academic pressure, social expectations, uncertainty about the future
  • Motivation and direction — difficulty knowing what you want or how to get there
  • Confidence and self-doubt — comparing yourself to others, imposter syndrome
  • Identity questions — who you are, what you value, how you want to live
  • Independence and relationships — navigating adult relationships, boundaries, and autonomy
  • Depression and withdrawal — pulling back from life, losing interest in things that used to matter

How I Work with Young Adults

My approach is collaborative and direct. I don't talk down to young adults or treat this stage of life as something to simply push through. These years shape the foundation for everything that follows, and the patterns you develop now — how you handle stress, how you relate to others, how you make decisions — matter.

We'll work together to understand what's getting in the way and build a path forward that makes sense for your life — not someone else's idea of what your life should look like.

In-Person & Telehealth

Sessions are available in-person at my Baton Rouge office or via secure telehealth for young adults located anywhere in Louisiana — including students at LSU, Tulane, UL Lafayette, and other Louisiana colleges and universities.
